Exotic and unconventional animals
The project

In 2022, within a pilot collaboration with Dr Emilio Noviello, our contact person for Exotic and Non Conventional Animals, PlayVet manages to create a limb prosthesis for Yuma, an amputated stork now housed in the Parco Volo Alto in Rome

Building on the success, we offer today for interested professionals the opportunity to access our software processing from CT scans for various applications in the exotic animal sector, with a focus on the following projects for 2022-2023:

1. Limb prosthesis for birds;
2. Beak correction system for psittacines;
3. Carts for walking in rabbits;
4. 3D scan validation in NACs;

Workflow

The protocol envisages the enrollment of the patient through the evaluation of our veterinary surgeons the employment of third-level diagnostics to obtain the data necessary for the production of the support.
